3 The same player under two agreements
The 2022 Basic Agreement expires 11:59pm ET on 1 December 2026, and service time, arbitration and free agency are central to the dispute. This runs the same service time under two rulesets and shows the difference. Edit the second column to model a proposal.

4 What an offer guarantees
Enter the years of an offer. Money that is not guaranteed — club options, vesting years, incentives — belongs in the “guaranteed” column as “no”, and is reported separately rather than added to the total.

Your assumptions
Every rate below is yours, not this site's. None is looked up, verified or supplied by the tool — they are here so the arithmetic is visible and you can change any of it.

What this page does not compute, and why
There is no modelled outcome for declining an offer, no projected arbitration salary, and no comparable-player set. All three need league-wide salary data, and this project has none.
The service-time database has never held salaries. Published arbitration projections are someone else's work, and republishing them is the same line this project already drew over Baseball Reference's figures and over MLB's photographs. No free, permitted, machine-readable salary source has been found.
A breakeven figure assembled from invented salaries would be the most confident-looking and least defensible number on this site, so the branch is absent rather than approximated. What is here instead rests on facts you supply or on figures the database already holds.
